Pat Flanakin Bio Born in Dallas, TX, Pat has been a pro musician most of his life, played in various bands, and as a solo artist, has opened for major acts, but is now concentrating on writing. Pat has written over 400 songs in different genres, including country, pop, rock, blues, children's, & holiday music. He writes, sings, produces, and plays all the instruments on most of his recordings. He plays guitar, bass, mandolin, banjo, drums, and a little piano and fiddle. One of his songs was slated for a CD by a new artist, but it has yet to be released. Another song is featured in the film "Van Vorst Park" starring Frank Vincent. He was a semi-finalist in the 2011 Acoustic Roundtable contest and made the Top 10 in the 2012 and Top 20 in the 2015 Broadjam 6-Pack contest, and received a honorable mention in the 2016 International Songwriting Competition.
